The Salvage Vanguard Theater is an energetic hub for performers, audiences and arts organizations around the Austin area.

The theater explores many different medias and methods of performance, with improvisational comedy shows on the venue's second stage, and scripted plays on the main stage. Through the years, the Salvage Vanguard Theater has hosted a music series, alternative and edgy stage performances and a summer arts performance series for youth.

The troupe consistently wins high praises from local critics for its varied productions, including edgy new dramas and retro sci-fi spoofs.

Thanks to a recent overhaul of the venue, the Salvage Vanguard Theater now includes a 100-seat main stage, a 50-seat performance/second stage and a visual arts gallery.
